12 Months Ago We Were Talking About This Chap

January 2009 and the transfer window had just opened, but who can remember the fiasco that followed?

I've managed to dig out an old forum thread (thanks Google) and look what I found? I wonder what happened to the likes of lincolnblue, alphieblues and oliverblue?

Memories, sweet memories...

I was watching skysportsnews all day when that deal went through. IT carried on for ages after at the fact we couldn't sign names as big as Kaka. I was partially gutted he didn't come due to his ability but i thought it was an owners signing like Robinho that would have dislodged Ireland and i'm glad it didn't happen
