Italy does seem to churn out a large number of very good managers however I think the best manager is Guus Hiddink. When you look at what he did with useless teams like South Korea and Australia as well as top teams in the time he spent with Chelsea last season its remarkable that some elite Eurpoean side hasn't made a move for him yet.

Khoder - agree that S Korea aren't the best, but Australia are a big athletic side with some decent PL players so wouldn't describe them as useless. Hiddink is a very good coach indeed, but he is Abramovitch's employee which means he'll only go somewhere on the Oligarch's say-so, which must make Ancelotti somewhat nervous. As to Italian coaches? Well, Hodgson is English, Ditto Bobby Robson , Mourinho Portuguese, Whinger French and so on. So I think it's possible to say that a lot of good coaches come from Italy, but they don't really have a monopoly.

i ha to smile when mancini wasnt happy in his post match interview on how we let the goal in- hes a perfectionist and that boads well for the future for us because he is a born winner.
