Fergie, Fergie, Sign Him Up...
Once again City's 'dog chasing a stick' (copyright rag smugfest United We Stand) tears another Premier League defence to shreds.
'El Apache's' sublime skill and vision have been a joy to watch this season. His finishing has been stunning. The livewire striker has now scored 15 goals in 21 City starts. A phenomenal run.
Taggart recently underlined that the reason he has not signed any player of note this past year is not because he does not have big money available, but because he does not see anyone worth paying big money for.
That statement will not be easily accepted by the legions of rags who were shrieking 'Argentina, Argentina' throughout last season's boring Big Four dominated procession.
Carlitos expressed his delight at being named Barclays Premier League Player of The Month before his hat-trick against Blackburn:
'It's nice to get awards like this and the one from the City fans as well, but as long as the team does well, that's all that matters. I'm very happy with my form, but what's more important is that the team has been playing well recently.
'This squad has the ability for the manager to pick a team to suit a certain game or if there a few injuries about...he is willing to change things, even during a match, so you have to be alert to what he wants to do. He's very strong on us working hard when we have not got the ball.'
Once again our latest poll reflected accurately the input of certain players who are fighting their way back into contention at buzzing City.
