'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Glazers Are In Fact Blue

Vital Manchester City new signing, 'Fergie Sign Him Up' sent us the following tongue-in-cheek article.

This article will shock not only people who read it on this site but probably the whole football world.

I can exclusively reveal that the Glazer family are in fact impostors. Truth be known these so called Texan millionaires are not even American, they are in fact a working class family from just off Stanley Grove in Gorton and they are ironically all blues.

The takeover off the Rags started off as nothing more than a drunken prank that started in the Gorton Mount Pub on a Monday afternoon. The Grimes family were merrily spending Monday's family benefit when someone at the bar recalled the Michael Knighton fiasco in the mid eighties. Well, one thing led to another and before the tea time trade arrived letters were being written and signatures forged. By the time the Grimes family had sobered up the next day their offer had been accepted!

Father and head of the household Terry Grimes was having a talk in an American accent to Martin Edwards and to be frank, things had got completely out of hand and there was no going back. I wanted Blues on Vital Manchester City to know the truth before it come to light in the Sunday Red Tops. The Grimes/Glaziers are not bad people but it looks like they have single handily brought a great institution to its knees.
