Wayne Rooney May Have To Be Sold

Manchester City's main rivals may have to sell Wayne Rooney just to balance their books.

Last July's 80million sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid prevented Manchester United posting losses of close to 31m - in a year they won the Premier League and reached the Champions League final, however, they are more than likely going to have to sell another player just to keep their heads above the ever rising mountain of debt.

United have borrowed money like no the club in the Premier League and now they are about to reap their just rewards by selling off their prize assets - Wayne Rooney for example.

A leading sports administrator said...

'United must significantly reschedule their debts otherwise what happened with Ronaldo is bound to happen again. That would mean selling Wayne Rooney.'

What is Rooney worth - 50 - 60 million?

In a world suffering from a shortage of money there are only a handful of clubs out there who could afford this sort of cash. Yes, Manchester City FC.

We wait and see.

Surprised if he was worth that much to be honest. More like 35m to me. Then again, who cares, I don't expect shrek to be playing in a sky blue shirt like, EVER. Thankfully!

Bloody hope he's sold would mean we'd get 25% of anything over 20 million they got for him. So if he goes for 60 million that's 10 straight into our usually zero transfer budget!

Java, or is it Nobby Allcock? More to be said. I'll see your previously more money than the majority of your competitors fuelled response and raise you 700 million in debt, 5 league defeats, one FA Cup third division humiliation and a knackered old tramp of a manager.

We're not obsessed with our Neighbours, we're just showing a healthy community spirit, keeping an eye on them in this freezing snap of inclement weather, you know in case any of their geriatrics should slip and break a hip or something. Care in the community, we've got Hearts of Gold.

Another typical United fan in Java I see. I suggest that you enjoy those trophy wins, most of which were probably before you jumped on the bandwagon and I hope that you have some DVD's of these United victories as you won't be winning any trophies any time soon and the banks will be looking for some repayments soon which will mean no new players for you.

Over on Rag Vital, the runaway leader has scored 33 points this month and Java has scored 2, which incidentally were both within this front page article on VMC - It seems that we're much more interesting than they are!
