Kompany Calls On Eastlands To Rock Against Rags
City's Vincent Kompany has followed Carlos Tevez's intentions for revenge with a rallying cry for City fans at Eastlands to give the rags hell...
He told the MUEN:
'We are definitely as excited as the fans, but one thing they can do for us is make the place a Blue hell tomorrow - if they do that, we will take care of the rest. We will be super-motivated for this game, and it has all the ingredients for us to have a very good first leg.'
The classy midfield and central defence utility man revealed the mood in the City camp after the disappointing no show at Everton.
'When you lose a game the first thing you want to do is get back out on the pitch and do it better. One thing I can guarantee is that the players are hungry and ready, and we just want to go out and play well. It wouldn't have made a difference who we play in our next game. That's how highly I rate our team's professionalism - no matter who we play in the next game we aim to bounce back.'
