Possible Teams: City v The Rags

Possible Teams: City v The Rags

Shaun Wright-Phillips is set to start his first game under Roberto Mancini after a good performance off the bench at Goodison. Stephen Ireland is fit again after a hamstring strain and is also expected to a place on the Berti.

Nedum Onouha, who was also on the Berti on Saturday could also be set for his start under Mancini after poor performances from both Micah Richards and Pablo Zabaleta. Roque Santa Cruz has been ruled out for another month after a recurrence of his calf strain.

There is no news on Carlos Tevez and Martin Petrov after they both pulled up against the Toffees so I assume those two are fit. Finally, Patrick Vieira will not make his debut after much speculation. The Frenchman is not yet ready for action and will be able to play in 7-10 days. David Ball, Wayne Bridge, Michael Johnson and Joleon Lescott are also all injured.

Possible Starting Team:

1) Given

5) Zabaleta - 2) Richards - 33) Kompany - 15) Garrido

34) de Jong - 18) Barry

8) SWP - 32) Tevez - 39) Bellamy

27) Benjani
However, here is the team I would like to see:

City Line-Up:

1) Given

2) Richards - 4) Onouha - 33) Kompany - 15) Garrido

34) de Jong - 7) Ireland - 18) Barry

8) SWP - 32) Tevez - 39) Bellamy
As for The Rags, I can't be bothered writing anything about them but here is there possible team:

Possible Starting XI: Rags:

29) Kuszczack

21) Rafael - 6) Brown - 23) Evans - 20) Fabio

26) Obertan - 16) Carrick - 8) Anderson - 17) Nani

7) Owen - 32) Diouf

What do you think City's XI will be?

the team i would go for if all fit would be..............GIVEN-NED-RICHARDS-KOMPANY-GARRIDO-DE JONG-SWP-BARRY-IRELAND-BELLERS-TEVEZ------

Given Richards Kompany Boyata Garrido SWP De Jong Weiss Ireland Tevez Bellamy
19/01/2010 08:47:00
19/01/2010 08:48:00
The pace of SWP & Weiss will rip the rags apart and Weiss can use his pace when cutting in side to create space for himself for a shot or a cheeky little dink into the 6 yard box for the bullish tevez and bellamy to do their thing

Id go for given- richards, boyata, kompany, garrido - ireland, barry, dejong - tevez, bellamy, benji. I wouldnt be suprised if robinho starts.
