Vladimir Weiss Makes Bold Bolton Move

Bolton Wanderers has made one of the best loan signings of the year by taking Manchester City's midfielder, Vladimir Weiss on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Slovakian international has found it difficult to break into City's first team squad, however I am sure his four month stint at the Reebok will do him a world of good.

Bolton fans are going to be amazed by his pace and skill - trust me.

The official MCFC statement dated 22/01/10 reads...

'The Club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Bolton Wanderers over a loan for Vladimir Weiss for the rest of the season.'

'Discussions between the clubs and the player's representatives are ongoing and the final paperwork has yet to be signed.'

He needs games ahead of the World Cup. He'll look a proper dwarf amongst the Bolton Giants!

He will come back a better player from bolton and after the world cup. Im a big fan, boyata took his chance very well at boro. But its harder for young winger to break through. Coyle will play some football, unlike megson - so weiss should do well. Id rather robinho left instead tho.

Weiss likes to get stuck in and he will have less pressure on him at Bolton. If he plays consistently then he will grow into the talented player we all know he can be. Im happy he is staying in the premier league because he needs to build up strength.

i hope they look after him there because they aint exactly a footballing side but more like hoofers.

Being a Bolton fan, I very much welcome the signing of Weiss who is tipped to be a superstar in a few years time if he keeps his head on his shoulders and becomes physically stronger. Coyle is bringing in change, but it will take its time. We have a few technically gifted players already and Weiss will add that bit of flair and creativity that we've been missing.

Good luck to the lad - he could be our superstar next season.

he will come back 6 foot 5 and be able to hoof a ball over 70 yards upfield.
