'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Possible Teams: Scunthorpe v City

Well, I expect Mancini to make quite a few changes from the side that beat The Rags in midweek. From what I understand; Bellamy, Barry, de Jong, Given and Tevez will all be on the bench for the game at Glanford Park. All of those players mentioned could do with a rest. However, this game should provide good opportunities for a number of the other lads.

I expect Taylor to make his debut for the Blues so Shay Given can get the rest he deserves. Barry and de Jong will also be rested as they have both been showing signs of fatigue in our last couple of games.

Therefore, I expect Ireland and either Kompany or Zabaleta to join the Irishman in the middle of the park. Bellamy and Tevez will also sit on the Berti with Wednesday in mind and Mancini will be hoping Benjani and Robinho can find the net in the absence of our regular front-men.

Here is what I think the team will be:

City Line-Up:

(4-4-2)

12) Taylor
-
2) Richards - 44) Boyata - 4) Onouha - 16) Sylvinho
-
8) SWP - 7) Ireland - 33) Kompany (c) - 17) Petrov
-
27) Benjani - 10) Robinho
-
-
As for Scunthorpe, they have virtually a full squad of players to pick from. The only absentee is Rob Jones who has a hamstring injury.

Scunthorpe Line-Up:
-
(4-4-2):
-
22) Lillis
-
3) Williams - 6) Byrne - 15) Mirfin - 2) A.Wright
-
11) Thompson - 16) Woolford - 18) O'Connor - 19) J.Wright
-
9) Hayes - 10) Hooper

What do you think the Starting XI will be?

i think the lineup for us above wont be too far off to be honest.

Tend to agree with the line up Scragg but i think Given will play - you don't get too tired playing in goal.
