Will Portsmouth FC Turn Up On Sunday?

Will Portsmouth FC Turn Up On Sunday?

Manchester City's Premier League clash against Portsmouth on Sunday might be put in jeopardy as the south-coast club have run out of cash - AGAIN.

The latest fiasco surrounds the clubs failure to maintain payments towards their service provider, hence the reason why Pompey's official website has been taken down.

Other issues surround transporting the players and staff nearly 250 miles north to Manchester and of course, there will be hotel and coach bills to pay. Rumour has it the players may have to double up by car sharing and travel the four and a half hour journey on the morning of the game.

It also appears no one form the club, from the players down to the tea lady will be paid at the beginning of February, which means this will be the fourth time in as many months the club has failed to meet its obligations.

Pompey fans expect the club to go into administration as early as next week, which means an immediate 10-point league deduction. If this happens it will be the first time a Premier League club has effectively gone bust.

We at Vital Manchester City wish Portsmouth FC the very best and hope to see you bright and early this coming Sunday morning.

Play Up Pompey!

Nightmare is not the word - any player who can kick a ball is being sold - Kaboul and Begovic to Spurs, Williamson to Newcastle and loan players we have never heard of bought in to replace them. Yes the OS is back but we had not pitchside advert hoarding on Tuesday night!! Hopefully we will be there Sunday but they will have to introduce the players to the fans first!

Thanks for best wished - one point there is only a nine point deduction in Premier League as only 38 games.

your good wishes count for nothing when you use such an obviously inflamatory title for your article.
