John Terry Is A Cad & Bounder

John Terry Is A Cad & Bounder

England and Chelsea captain, John Terry couldn't keep it in his trousers and in doing so he's made a complete fool of himself and embarrassed and his so-called mate, Wayne Bridge.

News broke over the weekend that Terry had an affair with Manchester City's Wayne Bridge ex-girlfriend. Nothing wrong with that I hear you say, but surely the whole incident could have been handled differently?

As for the affair, well all one needed to do was pick up any newspaper to read the finite details but my point is this isn't the first time Terry has cheated on his wife. In fact I believe this is the THIRD time.

Any England captain will always be in the media spotlight and his behaviour is not what we as England fans expect, therefore my question is...

Should John Terry remain as England captain?

TEAM BRIDGE

Manchester City players on Sunday wore T-shirts declaring 'TEAM BRIDGE' in support of Bridge with the left-back reported to be 'in bits' following the weekend's disclosure with Carlos Tévez, Nigel de Jong and Stephen Ireland sported the T-shirts.

'The players are very close to Wayne,' said Mancini. 'He is a fantastic player.'

Liberalism is a way of life in the UK but has Terry gone too far? We would love to hear your views.

He probably is a cad and a bounder. He probably is a bully. You certainly wouldnt want him to go out with your daughter. He may be unlikeable and a nasty piece of work who is due a cumuppance. All qualities which make him a single minded player and leader you would just love to have on your side. Biggest piece of guff being spouted by everyone at present as though its the truth. The England captaincy comes with "Certain Responsibilities". Does it - where are they written down then? I want a captain to have skills to assist my side in winning over and above his football skills. No more - no less. Terry has those skills.

hey mr reasonable, while there is no "England" contract, footballers are all subject to "certain responsibilities" in their club contracts and conducting yourself in a professional manner that does not make the club look bad is part of what you sign up to as a fooballer.

Simon - therefore by your argument he should be dropped from ever playing football again by both Chelsea and England.

Just wait til Max Clifford get's his nose in the trough. Build him up, knock him down, hanging's too good for him, I'd gladly pull the lever, hell in a handcart etc. Britain has the worst media in the world. Now I can understand players sticking up for a fecked off team mate but that has nowt do do with being a solid England captain, which he is. I don't particularly like the bloke and there are all sorts of stories knocking around about him but England are playing better football than in ages and have a settled situation. I already know of two Scottish hacks who are foaming over this. It's a good job George Best isn't in the Premier League now. But Terry is surely doomed now Clifford is involved.

ps, I'm not condoning what he's done, er alledgedly. But please let's not make this a City v Chelsea thing as De Jong, Tevez and Ireland are pals of a wronged team- mate. Hnag on a minute, they're not English! Phone The Street of Shame!

Terry has brought the game into disrepute - simples! He should be squeaky clean until the day he gives up footbaall and then after that who cares what he does. He is a prize knob-head.

So I see Gerrard's in the running to replace him. The same Gerrard that was in court for common assault last year, and was let off despite video footage showing him leathering some guys in the chops. Nice.

I agree with Johnny Baguette, lets not make it chelsea vs city, let the concerned parties solve the problem among themselves

The problem with Terry is not that he did an immoral act, it is that he showed about as little judgement as possible in committing this act with an England teammate. It's not about football ability, it's that he can hardly pretend to be a leader of any kind if he would do something this pig-headed and stupid. It would seem that if there is anything that would lose you the captaincy of a national team, it would be what he has done here.
