'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It Cost £5m For Terry To Dip His Wick

It must be one of the most expensive indiscretions in recent times but disgraced Chelsea and ex-England captain, John Terry has dipped out on £5m sponsorship.

His extramarital love affair with Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend has cost him his pride, his Three Lions captaincy and now any hope of potential sponsorship. Albeit I did hear a well known condom company are considering their options of signing the 'big man' for their vending machine adverts.

Big money sponsors such as Vodafone, Gillette and Pepsi are thought to be disgusted with Terry's antics and current agreements look as though they could be dropped.

Terry has a £4million deal with England kit manufacturer Umbro but a spokeswoman refused to say if his position was under review.

A branding expert said: 'There's a World Cup round the corner. It's goodbye. He's scored an own goal.'

With further revelations expected in tomorrows Sunday's paper John Terry must be wondering why he didn't keep it in his trousers. £5million to dip your wick, you must be 'aving a laugh!

For £130 quid he could have gone to that Thai brothel where Avram Grant goes, it's only down the A3 from where he lives
SIR TROYSTER
as if JT has any money concerns!

Where's the 5 million? Baseless, contentless article. You could be working for the Mirror, for all I know. Wind up merchants, with the editors interested only in increasing the readership and the money earned through advertisement. Typically trying to follow the well beaten path set by the rags, rather than make Vital a unique, different site. Pathetic. I'm not slating any of the members, mind you, this whole winding up attitude (Your incessant talk about United before the OT leg is included in what I'm talking about), propagated by the editors, who are solely interested in the number of hits and the number of advert clicks every day, that irritates me. I like many of the user's views and thoughts, but the basic content of the site is deplorable.

Thank you for your comments JT_daniel. I have sent you an email explaining one or two things.

lol JT - you are just as bad trying to mock others so shut your damn cakehole!
You dont like it when people mock your team players, and I for one support Team Bridge - they should castrate John Terry - its disgusting doing your mates missus, or even ex!
niteworlok
i hope terry goes on to play for england and win the WC dfor us aswell - you name me one person that is an angel in life ? ARE YOU ?

JT - wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or what? Nice of you to stick up for the captain of your club (now that the real reason he didn't come to City has been revealed), but there are a lot of us that really are a bit disgusted by what he did. And if Tiger Woods can lose £10m in sponsorship by screwing around on his missus, then JT will surely lose a hefty wedge too. P.S. Not a woman born who is worth risking your marriage and £5m quid though - unless you're a silly chav like Terry.
fifthcolumnblue
fifthcolumnblue, I have a lot of respect for your views mate, but hell- read my post carefully. I was disgusted at the general approach of the site and the fact that the 5 million was simply thrown into the air, with no facts, no basis, nothing! Support it with facts and I will not protest. And the real reason why he did not come to City? Go to Matthew Harding stand in Stamford Bridge and read the banner.
