Possible Teams: City v Stoke

Roberto Mancini might struggle to field a fully-fit 11 for City's mid-week game with Stoke at the Britannia. With Tevez away for family reasons, Bellamy and Kompany rated doubtful and Ireland, Petrov & SWP all struggling with knocks; Mancini may be forced to play the not fully-fit Santa Cruz. However, I anticipate Shauny to be fit enough to compete as he managed to play through half the game with an injury so it can`t be that bad.

Here is the team that I think Mancini will opt for:

City Line-Up:

(4-3-3)

1) Given
-
2) Richards - 28) Toure (c) - 19) Lescott - 3) Bridge
-
34) de Jong - 24) Vieira - 18) Barry
-
8) SWP - 25) Adebayor - 11) A Johnson
-
-
And here is the team that I think Tony Pulis will go with:

Stoke Line-Up:

(4-4-2)

29) Sorensen
-
4) Huth - 25) Faye (c) - 17)Shawcross - 3) Higginbotham
-
24) Delap - 18) Whitehead - 15) Diao - 20) Tuncay
-
10) Fuller - 11) Sidibe

What team do you think Roberto will go with?

I think the team above will start. I wish toure was dropped because he is the obvious weakest link against long ball teams.

Yeah you're right mate. Toure is an unreliable piece of garbage. He should be leading the team and inspiring them as he has bags of experience from his invincible arsenal days

id go with given, richards, toure, kompany, lescott,de jong, barry,a johnson, ireland, adebayor, santa cruz.I think this team can all pretty much pass the ball well, and with stokes long throws it would suit us for the fast counter attack with two up front.
irishsheik
We must keep it on the deck.
Johnny Baguette
All of you are right apart from the utter piece of garbage scragg as hes only garbage against tall powerful sides. He is a great asset against teams who play it on the deck. Lets hope Mancini can see it but does e have the balls to "rest" him for for Onuoha or Richards at CB.

Fair enough lando. But i really think that toure is a massive liability and should be much more reliable and a better leader with his experience.
