Will Bobby Manc Still Be Boss Come The Summer?

Vital Manchester City new signing, Vanzuylan sent us the following...

I have this underlying doubt in the back of my mind that come the summer if Mancini has failed to achieve fourth position at a minimum he could be sacked.

The reasons for me thinking this are...

The fact that in the press conference I remember Garry Cook sitting there getting all flustered fending off all the media questions fired at him regarding Roberto's job and the time frame he would be given.

I remember Roberto in broken English saying it was a three and a half year contract - I thought great that's what we need after the way Hughes was fired, some much need stability. But then it comes out that the first six months of Bobby's contract has a clause in it by where if it's not all going to plan he basically gets the chop. This is absolutely no way to run a football club surely (our football club); even given the fact we are in good hands financially.

So who else thinks Bobby will or will not be here come summer?

I want the guy to say, the hell with what Cook thinks (which by all accounts, isn't much).

I hope that Mancini is our manager for a long time to come but you can't help but have doubts these days.

If we get top4 or win the fa cup the owners will keep him. Anything less and he will be replaced.

I hope your right Merlin. Did I just really say that about Kenyon coming to City? The lesser of 2 evils I suppose and he does at least have some footballing knowledge.

Kenyon!! Nooooooooo. Our club needs to get better at scouting upcoming management talent because we seem to get lumbered with people other clubs did not want. We're the richest club in the world - surely we can attract the best talent!

I don't like to tell you blokes this but it's an absolute disgrace that a City related site is bringing up this sort of issue. I know we all have rights and opinions but for god’s sake the Mancini only took over in late December. What on earth are you trying to do to the club you are supposed to support? Do you actual know how many people want to remove Garry Cook or are you just pampering to the tiny minded minority yet again? Please remove my registration from this site after this post. I find it a complete disgrace and offensive that a small section of so called fans of the club I love, constantly go on like spoilt children shouting OUT whenever there's a couple of results they don't like. OUR CLUB IS MOVING FORWARD AND TAKING IT'S LOYAL FANS WITH IT. I SUGGEST IF YOU CAN'T SUPPORT THE CLUB THEN DON'T DEBATE THE CLUB. WE DON'T NEED NUMB SKULLS MAKING COMMENTS ABOUT THE CLUB WHEN IT GETS MORE BAD PRESS THAN IT SHOULD ANYWAY.

Blue_heart Firstly you pompus tube we're only having an open debate regarding the managers tenure at the helm, if you could have been bothered to read the majority of the posts everyone wants the manager here for the long haul. Take the train you tube.

Vanzuylan If you could read you would see that there are 3 comment for and 3 against the manager the rest are calling for Cooks head to roll. Everyone is therefore not wanting the manager for the long haul as you put it. I suggest you get you facts straight before you turn your hand to insulting those that can actually read. Clearly though you are happy in your sad little world of unthought through comments.
