VMC Man Of The Match v Stoke

It seems that as Micah Richards grows older he is showing flashes of increased know-how on the park allied to his pace and power. He's the VMC Forum's Man of The Match at Stoke...

If Micah can put together a strong run of injury free performances, he still has an outside chance of joining Wayne Bridge, Gareth Barry and who we hope to be Joleon Lescott, Shaun Wright-Phillips and maybe even Fabio Capello's current favourite Adam Johnson in South Africa at The World Cup. What price City and Birmingham's Joe Hart?

City can only benefit if Mr. T and co can get it together with our international imports over the coming crucial weeks.

In the absence of any leadership from Kolo Toure, Lescott did a great job in marshalling the backline as the injured Vincent Kompany has done over the past month.

Barry, after some wretched form also came in for some recognition in another disjointed, sluggish showing from The Blues.

I was 50/50 over whether it was MicaH or Lescott. Just wish we were voting attacking midfielders or strikers as MoTM, not defenders!

In a crap team performance Micah was the shining star - well deserved.
