Stop Talking The Talk, Just Walk The Walk

Vanzuylan sent us the following rally cry.

It's the time for the players to stop saying how they are going to do this and to do that etc, just do it on the pitch where it counts.

This is the business end of the season in that for as long as I can remember we've never been in the shake up with the other teams jockeying for Champions League positions. Please for the sake of the fans don't blow it.

We have a glorious chance to play against Europe finest next season, have the best season we've ever had and the door is half open, it's just waiting for the players to walk through it.

For too many years now we get ourselves into wonderful situations (under so many different managers) and blow it at the final hurdle. It can't always be the manager's fault, surely not? There has to come a stage where the players have to be accounted for and collectively become a unit and take on board what the manager says and work as hard as they can not just physically, but more importantly the mental side of the game.

As the fans have known for years now, if there was a cup for cock ups we'd have a full trophy room. Its time to put this scenario away forever and walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

It's all in your hands gents, you've got the spot and a game in hand. There can be no-one to blame but yourselves if you don't nick a champions league place. It's time to deliver, and you have the capacity to do it.

I couldn't agree more with the article or Gunnermans reply. We simply have to do it and it will be nobody elses fault bar our own should we fail - Come on City!
