The Ballad Of John Terry & Wayne Bridge

Wayne Bridge returns to his old stomping ground on Saturday in what is expected to be one of the most fiercely contested Chelsea v City games in years.

The majority of Wayne's team-mates fully support the 29-year-old left back's decision to quite the international scene and if sources are correct, Man City are up for this game like no other they've played in the Premier League this season.

Bridge may have turned down an England call-up but John Terry has not come out of the Vanessa Perroncel affair smelling of roses either, especially when the Three Lions boss Fabio Capello stripped Terry of the England captaincy last week.

City fans going to the game will no doubt be vocal towards John Terry and quite rightly so. Give him hell lads!

The thought of all those hacks stalking the England team around South Africa with both Captain Chav and Bridgey in the same squad doesn't bear thinking about.
