Standing Up For What You Believe Is Right
The rumours, innuendoes and snide remarks are no longer welcome on Vital Manchester City. Why? Simple, because I've done something about it that's why.
Many of you will know about an incident that occurred two weeks ago, and wow did it gather momentum. In fact it snowballed to such a level that 10 Vital MC members decided to break away and create their very own forum. Good luck lads but as the saying goes, you've made your bed, now lie in it - your VMC membership has been removed.
Based on the above I thought, enough is enough - I was on the verge of walking away however, the level of support I've had has been tremendous. I've taken onboard your thoughts and ideas and have made the following decision.
I am going to stand up for what I believe is right. No more bully-boy tactics, no more in-fighting, no more spamming other members.
The future
I will make another announcement once negotiations with the Vital boss have been concluded. What I will say is this - expect changes.
You decide?
If you are a member of VMC and you are pondering what to do, well let me help you - it's either them or us and like the title says, well perhaps you should have another look.
The fire in Tudors belly has returned - I will not allow the minority to bring down what took me and others three years to create - simples.

The sad thing is you have just banned nine of the top ten members in the Vital Members League. And the new site has eighteen members, so you will have to find six more to delete. It really is a sad state of affairs when a City forum has been turned into a power struggle. Nobody OWNS a forum, the forum takes its own shape and this dictatorial stance will set VMC back months. Not everybody who joined the other site wanted to leave here, we were given no choice in the matter, no discussion.

If it means I have to start from scratch then I am more than prepared to do so. Power struggle - you bet. I am responsible for what goes on at VMC and in the end I answer to one person - Jonathan Fear. I am not going to watch and see another forum similar to Rivals.net be created around me. Sorry but like I say above, the fighting spirit has returned. I want members who have deserted because of the minority bully-boys to return to VMC. They will once the dust has settled and i've implimented certain changes.

LOL, love it RobsonGreensleeves. There has been one or two issues, most of which i've resolved. Once i've been given the green light i'll happily disclose what my next course of action will be.

Just want to say goodbye to all those VMC members I have debated City issues with over the past year or so, its been interesting. The main thing is all those who remain and all those who are banned still have one thing in common; our desire for success for our great club. We wont be able to debate City on VMC any more, and thats a great shame. Life goes on, I wish you all well.

Ill clearly admit I have joined the new forum. Vital Man City has been quite dead since the win over chelsea, I simply thought it was just the two week break that slowed down discussions. I saw little spats here and there but nothing big that I thought it was serious.
Ill continue to be an active member in both, whichever forum gets the most positive activity will be the one Ill end up staying with.

Tudor, I am with you all the way and how great it is that you are sticking to your principles. The site may need to build up and it is up to all remaining members to help you do this and to build a site that is not for bully boys who want to intimidate and whose vocabulary is based mainly on swearing. What was so interesting in the events that happened over the last few weeks was the number of decent members who said they had been intimidated by the member you banned, at one time or another. Many of the group that left were almost encouraging him to be extreme by their open or tacit support. Let us just hope such members now totally boycott Vital Mancity and do not return to throw snide comments at us as that would really show how sad they were. Anyway onwards and upwards for both the site and for Manchester City.

All seems a bit sad and unnecessary and there was some lively banter which I will miss, although that will of course return.
At least no-one's called it a tragedy!

It is very sad. I kept my a/c open because I still wanted to be a part of all of this, but the decision was made for me and in so doing I was basically told I was not wanted. After all that I had done.
Those that have my email are welcome to contact me, because the guys who were deleted (and there were soooooo very many) are still all together. Those that do not will have to find current members who do have my addy.
It has been fun and it has been real, but after all that has happened, it ain't been real fun. I will miss you all.
Deleted members live on!

Have only popped into VMC now and then over the last few weeks due to work commitments and am still tryin to grasp WTF has went on......I to have had a run in or two with the usual suspect but this must have been one hell of a **** storm!

It's always a pity when things get strained enough to cause an upset like this.
I was away on holiday when it happened and I do miss many of the blokes that are gone, BUT VMC has given me much pleasure and people like Buzz, Thai, Willy, FCB and a many more still continue to make my visits pleasurable.
Tudor welcomed me when I first visited VMC and has always done the right thing by me so, I will be around VMC for a long time to come and I always have admired people that stick to their principles.
Good luck to all the blokes on the other site I wish you all well as I know you do us and always we will all have City's best interests at heart.
