I wont say it is a must win game, but we have to start putting some sort of form together for 90 minutes instead of 45. Fulham not an easy place to go to get a result, but thats what we have to do.

The UEFA Cup cost us in the league last season with us losing 8 out of 13 PL fixtures that followed midweek European games. In fact, Fulham rubbed salt into our wounds last April by beating us 3-1 at Eastlands after our 3-1 defeat at Hamburg! It takes it out of you by this stage of the season, and brilliant as Fulham have been last night, they will have to refocus quickly whilst dreaming of the QF....

It all depends on which Team turns up for the first half.

I must confess it's hard to focus with the stunning Juve win behind us and the Spurs FA Cup replay next week. Still, we have to pay the bills, and I'd feel better if we'd go ahead and reach that 40 point mark with a win on Sunday.

I dont think you have to worry about the 40 point mark, you are not even close to relegation material, but as for reaching it on Sunday, well that is another matter entirely. Briliant win over Juve!!!

Trying to put yourself in RM's boots and pick the team.for me Given; Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Barry; Johnson (A), De Jong, Viera, Bellamy; Tevez, Santa Cruz.It is no use playing for draws now, It will still be our best season in the premier ever. Tough game coming up midweek, so going into that with confidence of a win under your belt would be great.

God will forgive me this, but I hope that the Rags take Liverpool to the cleaners it will be the only time they will have helped us if they do.

Agree with that team Buzz. The more i look at this game the more i feel that 3pts are essential if we are going to get that 4th place.

I think the rags will be fired up for that one having been humiliated by the Mickys at home last season. We could use some help from the likes of Stoke as well!

Lawro Predicts Fulham 0 v Man City 2: "I think Fulham could be a bit jaded after their big game against Juventus on Thursday. It seems City are no different away than they were under Mark Hughes. Mancini obviously got into them at half-time last week at Sunderland and they were much better, creating lots of chances."

Fulham have a decent home record and are in boyant mood after beating juventus. City are crap away from home and chelsea win was a fluke . Im a fan, but im a realistic - i just hope spurs, liverpool and villa are as bad as us as the games go by. That isnt good enough because we should be doing alot better.Yes we have better players than fulham, but a team spirit and winning mentality takes more than a season to build. No matter how much money we spend. Wigan, Hull (4 points of city), birmingahm, stoke, sunderland, fulham have all taken points and played well against city. Any team that plays a physical game against city will take 1 point or 3points from us. Previous results this season show city are a soft touch for "lesser teams" . Fulham wont lose. Best city can do is get a draw. Which would be a very poor result for us.

We need to get that mean streak and not take games for granted we should approach every game as though the opposition was one of the top 6 in the league

VMC Pre Match Quotes - Javier Garrido: "There is no reason we can't win this game - we need a victory to keep the pressure on the teams around us. I think every team who plays us now wants to beat us because of what has happened to the club in the past couple of years. I think sometimes we have had a stronger mentality against the best teams and the results against Arsenal and Chelsea have proved that to be true. But we have to have that same focus against every team we play if we are to finish in the top four."

VMC Pre Match Quotes - Roberto Mancini: "I have a lot of respect for Stephen Ireland because he is a good player. In the week of the Chelsea game he had an injury. But now he has recovered and is ready to play. I have a number of options in midfield and Stephen is an important player for us."

I think he will start with VP and depending on how AJ is performing late on in the game may well bring on SI fresh legs and a superb passer of the killer ball, needs match games to get himself back to full fitness though

Well, well, Stoke 1 Spurs 2. That's a massive win for Tottenham. The significance of our clash with them in May cranks up a notch, even moreso if we can win at Fulham!
