City Must Beat Everton - Simples!

Manchester City go into tonight's game knowing a victory over Everton will leap-frog Roberto Mancini's side into fourth position. No pressure there then?

As of Wednesday 24th March 2010 the Premier League table shows Manchester United, played 31, 69 points, closely followed by Arsenal, played 31 and 67 points. Then come Chelsea, played 30, 65 points and then a massive gap of 10 points appears with Tottenham, played 30 - 55 points.

City has a game in hand over Harry Redknapp's side and a win will see the Citizens move into that all important fourth spot. Unfortunately the game isn't being shown live anywhere, not even on a dodgy internet site, although I could be proved wrong. Keep tuned for updates via our Match Day thread.

Wednesday 24th March 2010 Premier League Fixtures

Aston Villa v Sunderland - 19:45

Everton v City: 16/01/10

Just in case you needed reminding.

Is it me or is Moyes just the must bitter and jealous person ever. He just can't stop talking about us.

IMO Moyes has taken Everton as far as he can and now he's looking for a club with money, drive and desire. Perhaps he's putting himself in the shop window with all of his comments.

Tell me Gollum wouldn't love to have our money and gifted individuals rather than Everton's "Grit and team spirit"?

I think you will lose to Everton. And what is with Lescott pulling another sickie just in time for the Everton clash...again? Seems he is too ashamed of his behaviour before he left. What a cretinous little man he is.

Mods, can we keep these all time classic posts in? Especially that twockers question. We'll take that as a compliment.
Johnny Baguette
Beating Everton will further cement our intentions of getting to that 4th place and keeping it.

A win tonight against jealous phil nevile and moaning moyes would be heaven. Everton have hit form and moyes will get them fired up. We have great home record and we want revenge for the goodison defeat. I'll take a dull 1-0 win tonight.
