Thats going a little overboard don't you think considering you are only 2 points behind spurs and they appear to have a lot of injuries.
khoder
We haven't blown anything yet, but we have heaped more pressure on ourselves that's for sure. Spuds have several very difficult fixtures including a vistit to Eastlands and Villa obligingly dropped points to Sunderland last night. We should still do it, but in typical City fashion we won't make it easy for ourselves!
fifthcolumnblue
This could prove to be the kick up the arse we needed. Adeabyor returns next week.
Johnny Baguette
Cant say im looking forward to adebayors return. Similar to the return of the "great kolo toure"... Sorry to sound like a doom merchant, but i have no confidence in city finishing 4th. City will move into 4th place when spurs play chelsea, utd, arsenal - after that period we will fade away. A defeat at home against villa or spurs is to be expected. Poor decisions were made in the summer and we are paying the price.
Super City Slicker
how can you call a visit to Eastlands a difficult fixture after letting the bindippers cousins score two for no reply?
keefdayid
keefdayid - upholding the traditional spuds ignorance I see. If you watched the game (and I doubt very much you did) you would see that City were lucky to escape with only one serious injury (to Ireland after Jagielka deliberately stamped on his achilles) last night. If the spurs had been treated to so much foul play you would be shouting from the rooftops so kindly keep your uninformed opinions to yourself.
fifthcolumnblue
makes me laugh that people are going on about spurs run in.....city have man utd, arsenal, villa, and spurs in a 4 game run and nobody mentions that!!!!!....spurs are just fine, and we are where we deserve 2 be....this season will go to the wire, with our last 3 games being bolton city and burnley....i see no reason why we shouldnt take 9 points from that, we beat city home and away every season so a visit to coms means nothing...spurs will make champs league for sure, its only ourselves who can stop us
lillywhites101
Lilyan - you do realise you sound like a Rag with all that cockyness. I hear the same thing year after year from Spurs fans, we're going to do this and going to do that, but ultimately you just end up as also rans. If you do go on to get fourth then hats off but your cockyness is very tiring, especially when you usually end up looking like idiots because of it. And lastly EVERYONE is where the deserve to be, talk about stating the bloody obvious.
Bluedub
the race for 4th spot is still on...dont put money down on it..you can easily lose...its too close to tell.although I do doubt it is villa and liverpool.....
Daz Hotspurs
No secret that spuds have a cock on their crest - they certainly are a bunch of cocks.
fifthcolumnblue
"also rans" ha ha ha ha ha ha...coming from a man city fan that is taking the *****!!! the team who were in the 3rd tier of english football as recently as 1999, finished 4 points of relegation only afew seasons back, and have not won anything in decades!!!!.....LOL.....comedy club of english football!
lillywhites101
lilyan - that still doesn't take away from the FACT that despite your crowing season after season you have been also rans.
Bluedub
Whoever does get 4th place this season, you do know that you are only keeping it warm for everton next season! LOL.
Rob-EFC
At least a good team in Everton did the double over us and not a newly promoted team such as Wolves for example. Am I also the only one who's noticed we're only two points behind Tottenham, anyone would think we're floundering in mid table or something i hope all city fans remember where we've come from
arthur7171
City still favourites for me. Sounds crazy but dont write off Liverpool either, i wouldnt bet against them sneaking it on the last day either!

Cornish Gooner - would you mind enlightening as to wtf this means "sell your soul to the highest bidder, and it looks like youve even f****d that up".
Bluedub
Still all to play for as ahell of lot of action still to come
Wswilly3
well i think u will have wigan in the bag. i remember when u guys were kicking off how wigan are shocking and how can a team at this level lose 9-1 there was no credit given for our performance just the pathetic display of wigan. so anything less than 5-0 i will be suprised

Cornish Gooner - the term Raghead is both derogatory and racist. I shall be contacting the site admin to have your comment removed. i

folks, have removed the little war of words, support your teams, have a good bit of banter with opponents but try to respect those who don't like certain terms used. Very simple and lets face it, vital is a good place to be, we don't have many fall outs or key board warriors (Rivals used to be a total nightmare if anyone can remember) Really appreciate it..!
The Fear
fifthcolumn of course I didn't see you lose, I was I white hart lane watching the doors to Wembley open :-)
keefdayid
keefdayid I guess you have a point, I certainly wouldn't be watching spurs if my team were playing!
fifthcolumnblue
Liverpool getting fourth place!! No chance, a) they are some 4pts behind 4th with an extra game in hand, and b) their schedule is relatively tough, I think Everton will overtake Liverpool ( 3pts behind and they still have to verse arsenal and chelsea), for me, I wouldnt rule out Villa, if they can stop playing poorly now, then with their schedule they could perhaps sneak into 4th.
Rob-EFC
I take back what I said about Villa, now i think that you lot will take 4th, I just dont want spurs to take 4th, cant stand them for some reason.
Rob-EFC
jealousy rob, thats what it is.
asherthesmasher
Rob is cause we took 4 points off you and knocked you out of the Carling Cup?
