City's Yellow Card Count

After the announced two match suspension of Pablo Zabaleta. I decided to look into how many yellow cards each City player has recieved:

09/10 Yellow Cards:

Pablo Zabaleta: 10
Nigel de Jong: 9
Carlos Tevez: 7
Gareth Barry: 5
Craig Bellamy: 4
Micah Richards: 4
Wayne Bridge: 2
Javier Garrido: 2
Shay Given : 2
Shaun Wright-Phillips: 2
Patrick Vieira: 2
Emmanuel Adebayor: 1
Dedryck Boyata: 1
Greg Cunningham: 1
Joleon Lescott: 1
Sylvinho: 1
Roque Santa Cruz: 1
Kolo Toure: 1
Stephen Ireland: 0
Vincent Kompany: 0
Stuart Taylor: 0
Nedum Onouha: 0
Vladimir Weiss: 0
Martin Petrov: 0
Adam Johnson: 0
Abdisalam Ibrahim: 0
Benjani: 0
Michael Johnson: 0
Robinho: 0
Richard Dunne (sold): 0

Currently, Nigel de Jong is 1 yellow card away from a two match suspension but if he can get through the next two fixtures without receiving a yellow card he will have passed the threshold for suspensions for the latter part of the season. Carlos Tevez is other player who is close to the 10 yellow card mark which is slightly worrying but I believe that players should now change how they play just because there is a possibility they might get suspended.

Our top three certainly get stuck in! Nice one Scraggster!

well put together was certainly a discussion point on close we were to a ban
Once a Blue
Tevez yellow card last night was ridiculous, he was just showing passion celebrating with the fans. I wasn't aware of this threshold Scragg, is it a clean slate, or how does it work?

Thanks for the info Scragg - a bit worried with Tevez on 7
Thaibluefan
Don't worry there is no reason to sweat over tevez's situation. He needs 3 yellow cards in his next 2 matches which is very unlikely. And as far as i am aware, it is a clean slate after that

We will miss Zab - I just hope Micah will be smart for once!
