Sky Sports in the UK and foreign TV companies showing this weekends Manchester derby are expecting viewing figures to rocket.
Although no exact numbers have been published we at Vital Manchester City understand football fans from countries such as the near continent, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, Indonesia, and North and South America will have access to the game, live.
Chief Executives from the various TV companies have another reason to be cheerful as advertising revenue is expected to be the biggest of the year so far.
The climax to the Premier League season has to be one of the most exciting in years. The so-called Top 4 has at last been broken up with Liverpool struggling to qualify for next seasons Europa League never mind the exclusive Champions League.
The new guard consisting of Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa are knocking on the door and about time. I wonder if next season Manchester United will follow in the footsteps of Liverpool and wither away as 'has-beens'? I hope so!
