Q&A With A Gooner (onlinearsenal.com)

Q&A With A Gooner (onlinearsenal.com)

Arsenal supporter, Fabrizzio from the independent site onlinearsenal.com took time out of his busy schedule for this weeks 'Question & Answer' session.

What sort of reception will Emmanuel Adebayor receive especially after the incident at the City of Manchester Stadium earlier in the season?

'I think he will get the reception he is expecting! It won't be a good one at all. We got one good season out of him before he was comparing himself to Henry and asking for more money, then all of a sudden he just stopping trying.'

'Then to top it all I'm sure he set the record for most offsides in a season. We then got a summer of him comparing AC Milan to Beyonce and looking for a move before denying he wanted to go anywhere when the fans turned on him. Just wish he left the summer before for a few million more. The reception for him will be vitriolic, but on the other hand we welcome back fans favourites Vieira and Toure, who I'm sure will get a great reception.'

How long do you think Arsène Wenger will remain at the helm and what do fans think of him?

'I think he will go when he wants to as the board are fully behind him. Has a contract until 2011 and will probably stay on for a few more years after that. Fans opinion has started to divide lately with people questioning his stubbornness in sticking with under performing players because of his belief in his kids coming through. A lot of fans are expecting an extensive squad rebuild this summer and hoping Wenger splashes the cash and bring in some experienced players.'

Who will win this years Premier League and why?

'Chelsea. It seems like a title nobody wants to win this season! Every time a team gets ahead they seem to lose a match they are expected to win and lose the advantage. I just think Chelsea hold the advantage now as games are running out.'

How many players do you think you'll sign once the transfer window opens?

'I would hope we sign 3 or 4 experienced players over the summer. Would like a new keeper, a central defender, midfielder. Looks like we have Chamakh on his way to us in the summer who looks useful up front. Hoping we don't lose anyone although I don't think there will be any tears shed if the likes of Denilson or Fabianski are sold to bring better players in.'

'I will personally drive Silvestre anywhere he wants to go to make sure he goes!'

Saturday's score prediction please.

'3-2 to us. Hope you didn't expect anything else from a biased Gooner.'

If Manchester City qualify for next seasons Champions League how do you think they'll do?

'Depends on who you sign over the summer. Boateng looks a good player if the stories are true and if you do sign someone like Torres then you have a good chance of going far with the firepower.'

'With Mancini you have a good manager who knows how to play in Europe. A big factor will be who you draw in the group stage as you won't be amongst the top seeds. Get a good draw and I would think you would get to the quarter finals.'

What does the outside world, especially Arsenal fans think of MCFC and why?

'I don't think that you are that disliked by us (if we don't count the Adebayor factor). Obviously a lot of people will dislike the fact that you have mega rich backers and there will always be claims that you are buying your way to success. But at the moment people dislike Chelsea more for doing this, but I guess if you keep spending and start challenging for major honours then you will be tarred with the same brush.'

Who will win the World Cup and why?

'Spain look like they have a fantastic chance. Having finally got over their barren spell by winning the Euros I think that will give them the confidence to win again. So hard to predict though as any of the 'favourites' can up their game and do well.'

Many thanks Fabrizzio and onlinearsenal.com.

Would be funny if Spurs AND City caught up with Arsenal and both nicked CL places. Most exciting season EVER. We'll see how well Arsenal can bounce back soon enough.
