A Must Win Game For Both City & Aston Villa

Anyone associated with Manchester City don't need to be told about this Saturday's match at the City of Manchester City Stadium. Anything less than a win and both clubs might as well say goodbye to finishing fourth and Champions League football.

The final three league fixtures against Villa, Tottenham and West Ham are going to be nail biting to say the least. Come on City, how about taking three points into the Spurs game and allow me to grow my finger nails in preparation for Wednesday 5th May.

what a game this will be! COME ON VILLA!!!!!!!
Stig
Totally agree Stig. The final couple of weeks of the Premeir League season is going to be a cracker.
Tudor
Suprised you found video footage of a Villa goal that wasnt a header from a big guy from a cross!
HuddersfieldYiddo
Lads - advice on away pubs please? Travelling villain. cheers
leelindsay
We DON'T need to win this game - so long as we don't lose and win our last two our goal difference could see us into 4th.
Thaibluefan
yiddo - speak for yourself!! Spurs rely more on Bentley and Lennon to whip a ball in for crouch/palv then we do with carew.
leelindsay
Of course Lee. Im sure the stats will support your theory aswell. Or not. Anyways i was only fishing for a bite, and i think i caught a tuna.
HuddersfieldYiddo
Is anyone else s..hitting themselves cos I am!!! The next week of football will be some of the most important & significant football played in recent history by our respected clubs. I am hoping for a villa win on saturday and then assuming we will beat bolton and burnley - we only have to avoid defeat at eastlands to take 4th spot!! This is well and truly squueky bum territory!!!
TornadoYid
Shredded Nerves for breakast again?!
Johnny Baguette
HuddersfieldYiddo AstonVilla have scored 12goals from headers this season in league, Tottenham have scored 11. So I dunno haw you can make that stupid remark!
Blitz
blitz i think he explained that he was only fishing for a bite and looks like he caught another in yourself m8, who's comment looks silly now? haha
paddypower
My comment dont look silly :) The amount of criticism Villa get of other fans, I think they should check there stats on there own club before they start typin :D
Blitz
he's right yiddo lol villa 49 goals scored 12 of them headers. spurs 73 goals scored 11 headers
black-messi
8-)

this is going to be an important weekend if villa win that puts them at 67 while spurs would be at 67 if beating bolton....and that means the only hope villa has is that spurs dont beat burnley to get to 70(if spurs were to get 0 points from city) because goal difference is going into account and both city and spurs have better goal difference infact we could finish 3 teams in 4th with 70 points each....which means city will more then likley get it unless us spurs can drop alot goals on burnley which is possible as they have nothing to play for but then neither does west ham on the last week so......the outcomes are endless just dont count games in hand i rather have points in hand.....imo
RagingSpur
Can we see some stats on crosses into the box? Anybody? Omly proof ive managed to find is Ashley Young whipping more crosses in than anyone, some 344 of the *****ers , most aimed at big Emile. Goals from headers shouldnt mean anything as you have the worlds worst striker upfront. I watched you play Pompy last week and it was painful, thats all. I finally got what everyones been saying.
HuddersfieldYiddo
For me this is a must win game, Villa dont concede many, apart from Chelsea, but they dont score many either, so we should beat them.
johnkelv
judging by the conspicuous absence of mooners on their own site I think they must be bricking it particularly as they dont have a recognised goalie now and won't be allowed to bring in a replacement!
cheshireyid
Chesireyid - "mooners"? And yes nerves are jangling, but no more than Spuds, Villa or Pool fans I'd imagine.
Bluedub
bluedub - blue mooners - agree about the nerves, lets just hope the bin dippers are out of it.
cheshireyid
Villa hav e done really well to get back into the mix up as most were suggesting they were well and truly out of it, hopefully we can confirm that. Spuds will win this weekend so to remain on track we have to win, anything less and we will struggle immensly to get fourth
Once a Blue
A Villa win means Spurs would have to beat Bolton and Burnley and can still afford to lose to City. A draw would also be good but GD is closer between Spurs and City than Spurs and Villa so a Villa win please. COYS!
