Gareth Barry To Face His Old Club

Gareth Barry To Face His Old Club

Midfielder, Gareth Barry will celebrate his first anniversary as a Manchester City player on 2nd June 2010.

The 29-year-old left Aston Villa for Manchester City on a five-year deal worth £12m and since putting pen-to-paper the England regular has never looked back.

Aston Villa travel to the City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday in what is described as a must-win for both teams. Failure to capture all three points will almost scupper either sides chances of capturing that all important fourth place and next seasons Champions League qualification.

I think Barry will be our key man this weekend. He got boo'ed majorly last time and that seriously affected him. Hopefully he can just react with an excellent performance this time

He was very muted in his performance in the one oner at Villa. But he's running into fine form now.
