A Rush And A Push And 4th Place Is Ours Update

A Rush And A Push And 4th Place Is Ours Update

In one week's time, the picture will be much clearer as to which club will confirm the break up of the 'Big Sky Four' Premier League monopoly. It rests on a knife edge...

So who will it be out of Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City that will achieve that Champions League Holy Grail?

The deposed Liverpool have their sights set on the Europa League and you can bet your bottom euro that wherever their players are this week they'll be advised by their fans to roll over for Chelsea this weekend such is their hatred of united.

Villa, written off last month having been 7 points behind 4th place on 19th March have drawn level with that position having admirably grafted to steady their ship after humiliation at Chelsea. Having played a game more they are still in with a chance.

Spurs have had their seemingly unstoppable progress checked by the rags and even though they can surely be assured of a home banker and a chance to improve their goal difference against Bolton, they know they have to come to Manchester and win next Wednesday.

City meanwhile have stalled in their last two games against Arsenal and united, opting for a defence based make sure approach that realised 1 point at the Emirates. But it's now widely touted around SportCity that Mancio intends to open his side up and go on the offensive against Villa and Spurs at Eastlands.

All three squads will know that if they win their remaining games they are either there or in with a massive shout.

A mouthwatering week of football beckons and the most exciting finish to a Premier League season is now certain!

We dont have to win at your place at all!! IF we beat bolton and IF we beat Burnley a point in between would be enough!! Knowing spurs we will make a meal of it!! Im not taking Bolton or Burnley for granted mind as they have nothing to play for and will probably enjoy pressure free football , epsecially Burnley as all the players are in the shop window!! COYS please dont ef this up!!

Cant say its not been exciting, two weeks ago, our run in looked the worst, now with just 3 left, looks the best, the game at your gaf has gone from must win, to dont lose. I just hope you and villa draw and we beat bolton, that would make the game between us a can lose, but not by more than one goal, then were go into the last game level o points and probaly on goal difference too. Wow, could you imagine that, both with way games, were were be looking to score a bucket load!!!!

You can be sure Harold will be sending out his troops to win every game, but yes, a draw in Mcr would be ideal. That of course depends upon how City do against The Villa. Gary Owen has predicted for months that this will go the wire. City could be heading to West Ham in search of a big win. Anything could happen and probably will!

It could unfold in so many ways but like most I definately think its going to the last day and possibly to goal difference! Man what pressure there could be!! I know what I will be doing on May 9th- Bricking it infront of sky sports new or one depending what games are on!! Either way we have all shown progress this season but it would be nice to finish on a high! Especially for Lennon, King, Daws, Crouch, Defoe and Thudd possibly going to the world cup!!

Liamyid, in your last day scenario I can imagine the spammers rolling right over, which is why I've been cheering on Hull for the last few games. Johnny B, "widely touted around SportCity that Mancini intends to open up his side and go on the offensive against Villa and Spurs at Eastlands." Very funny!

Shiekn Mansour should do the team talks instead of Mancini. We would get the three wins we need. Simples.

If Villa Beat you and Spurs beat Bolton, then only Burnly can stop Spurs taking 4th regardless of the game between City/Spurs

liamyid, IF villa beat City this week our game against them isn't even a must not lose! We could lose at City and still claim 4th with wins against Bolton and Burnley! A Villa win is the best outcome for us this weekend. But like Muller I'm not taking those to games for granted. I fully expect us to make this a lotharder work than it should be! lol

This is all hypethetical, the only realisitc outcome is when we win all 3 of our games and comfortably enter the CL
