What Reception Will Tevez & Bellamy Receive?

(Sunday 09/05/10). On the final day of the Premier League season Roberto Mancini takes his Manchester City team to Upton Park.

The Hammers have avoided relegation and have nothing to play for except pride, but I wonder what sort of reception the 35,000 West Ham faithful will give their ex-pats, Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy?

During their time at the East London club both Tevez and Bellamy were described as fans' favourites however, with MCFC going one way and West Ham apparently going the other I shudder to think how the crowd would react should either player score the winning goal.

The Argentinean has said he would not celebrate should be put the ball in the back of the net while the Welshman probably couldn't care less if he broke the odd Hammers heart.

City need to get three points to guarantee finishing fifth and a subsequent higher seeding in next season Europa League, hence Sunday's game is still important following the Blues failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Whatever happens on Sunday I have a feeling its going to be cracker.

Premier League Fixtures - Sunday 9th May 2010: Kick off, 4pm BST.

Aston Villa v Blackburn
Bolton v Birmingham

There looked to be mutual respect between Tev and The Hammers fans at Eastlands. He apologised for scoring! I'd expect similar.

Whereas Bellamy will get abuse, he did supposedly go on strike and if a City player did that, he certainly wouldn't be my favourite.
