Patrick Vieira Moves To America

Manchester City midfielder, Patrick Vieira appears to have a new job.

The 33-year-old's City contract expires in June 2010 but with no confirmation whether the former French international will renew for next season it appears the 6'4' tall talisman has made the move across the pond.

The following ESPN America video clip shows Vieira talking to Robbie Earle about Jose Mourinho's possible move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Rumours suggested some months ago about Vieira's possible summer move to the Major League Soccer and now Patrick finds he has the time to talk about his former boss at Inter Milan and in doing so puts himself in the shop window for a possible move Stateside in what would be his final club.

Perhaps it might be premature to say goodbye and thanks for the last six months but what the hell, I've done it now.

Thanks PV, an eye opener.

MLS is not exactly top-notch but at least Vieira will get a decent final pay-packet. At 33 he should have another 2-years left in him.

Well, I guess he didn't by that Penthouse near Central Park for nothing!
