The more we hear of similar news to this, the more I wonder what sort of an impact this tournament is going to have long term on the SA economy.

i can't believe that Fifa was/are naive enough to think that EVERY major sporting event does not have the locals making their own memorabilia, just look at the past world cups, don't tell me every one was a legitimate brand! especially in a 3rd world continent like Africa, i know if i had the chance to make some serious money selling 'replica' goods, and were a good quality and cheaper than the 'official' ones i know what i would buy,and how do you think the markets in the uk work as it's not all legitamate goods is it, so good on the villages and people in the South african towns where the matches are held, imho
