Manchester City's summer transfer target, James Milner talks to the official FA.com website and in doing so answers fans questions submitted via Facebook.

The current Aston Villa and England midfielder looks relaxed in front of the camera, something he'll be doing quite a lot of if and when Villa finally realise they can't keep hold of one of their prize assets.

Ha, 30M, Good one! There'll be one or two offers up to about 24M then if you don't sell we'll'walk away and Milner will then ask to leave. O'neill will then have a Moyes style 'getting nowhere' strop before Randy sells him to us.

What a pointless article. I must have missed the bit where Milner said that he wants to play for you lot??? "James Milners's Name Resurfaces On City Radar"??????. IF he goes (BIG IF), it will be to a team that will immediately improve his game etc. not his wage packet.

Is there anything worse than 'new money' & smug Man City fans???? And of course money can never account for good taste - which the 3rd club in North West lacks almost intolerably. I suggest you think back to when The Fat Spanish Waiter tried to sign Barry - I think you will find we never once budged in our valuation. You seriously underestimate Lerner and Oneill if you think they will do a deal which doesnt suit them and the club before a player that is contracted to them. Personally I hope Milner see's sense and signs for either Chelsea, or United. One thing you havent considered is why would we sell one of our best players to a close rival???

'can't keep hold of one of their prized assets' purely because of the obscene money in the game now. Come on folks, bit of humility as this is yet another ********isation of the league... something started by Chelsea. Going to be the ruination of the game imho.

Fear - it was happening a long time before Chelsea got their money. Stig - yes there is something worse holier than thou Villa fans crapping on about class. Villan444 - wrong article mate, and who said that Milner said he wants to join us?

Money IS the be all and end all of things whether we like it or not. Man City have more than anyone else. Fact. So it is likely that Milner will end up at Eastlands, BUT Citeh fans don't be kidded it WILL be on Villa's terms or not at all. If MON and Randy can't persuade Milner to sign a new contract they will name a price and will NOT budge. The price will be well in excess of real value. £30m minimum. If you want him, pay it or look elsewhere.

I am just saying it wasnt so long ago you were a nothing club in the lower leagues battling for survival...... short memories or what? Now you think you have a devine right somehow, or monopoly on the game. You are everything that is wrong in our modern game.

Bluedub: Because the media has told him so and like sheep, they follow what they are told. Hating City is the "cool" thing now. Nevermind the money we pay clubs doesn't have to be accepted by the clubs but when it is, is put back into the game. Damn us for paying Swindon 250k for Alex Henley for example, thus giving Swindon an excellent cash sum (with more to follow) which they can invest in either club finances or new players.
