Geordie Banter Expected Anytime Soon

Geordie Banter Expected Anytime Soon

A respectable Newcastle United fanzine and ex-Rivals Network colossus, Talk of the Tyne has joined the Vital Network ranks.

Site editor Ken was one of Trevor's lynchpins (Trevor was the boss) over on the now defunct Rivals Network and without the aforementioned person I doubt there would be a decent Newcastle United site / forum out there in cyberspace.

For those of you who don't know but I was a publisher on the Rivals Network well before I became the Vital Manchester City editor and I have to say, having seen the banter that goes on over on his site, well, perhaps you should take a look for yourselves.

Vital Network

Anyone who follows football, no matter which team you support really should take a look at the following Premier League sites, and if you're not a member, well perhaps you should register and join the fun.

Vital also has Championship, League One, Two, Non League and Scottish Premier League sites but if I'm honest I really can't be bothered to add links to every single site. All you have to do it follow the team links and away you go.

Vital Manchester City welcomes TOTT.

Poor old Sunderland. I bet the Geordies are going to give 'em hell this season.

Good to be back! See you around the place I'd imagine. Cheers in advance for the 4 points when we spoil your charge to the title next season but other than that, good luck for it. We normally let the mackems wind themselves up. They're good at it. Any train of thought that involves something that's black and white sends them crackers. As they think about us 24/7, they're in a perpetually unstable state of mind. Having close relations with their bloodline doesn't help matters.

I suspect relegation back to the Championship is not on your agenda bowburnmag? (lol)

It'll be but a distant worry come the first game in August when we feast on your less noble neighbours. Cracking username by the way. Prefaced by the first name John, or the phrase "canny bag o'". Reet, I'm off for my beauty sleep. I don't really need it, I'm just a perfectionist. Farewell for now.

It starts as banter... then drifts into aggitation; spirals into delusion; eventually reaching a crescendo of manager disapproval, owner hatred and League conspiracy theories. Yes, we've all missed Newcastle.

With an owner like Ashley, they can just skip the rest and go straight to the hatred bit I reckon!
