City Midfielder Signs One Year Contract Extension
The official Manchester City website announced earlier today that Javan Vidal has signed a new one-year contract extension.
The 21-year-old, who has loan spells at Grimsby Town, Aberdeen and Derby County told the official site...
'My current deal ran out yesterday so I've extended my contract by another year. My aim now is to impress the manager during pre-season. I'm just looking for a chance to show people what I'm capable of and if the opportunity comes along, I will give it my best shot.'
'If I don't break through initially, maybe the club will send me out on loan to get a few more games under my belt and gain more experience. Either way, I'm just happy to have signed a new deal.'
The six-foot youngster has also represented England at U-20 level.

great that the youth are being given an opportunity to make their mark. with all the changes going on at the club it would be easy to cast aside anyone not in Mancini's immediate plans, but this shows exactly why City is one of the best clubs for young players in the world.
