Welcome to the States Thierry - your handling skills will be much appreciated by basketball fans throughout the US of A.

Very good Fifthcolumnblue. :.) I think a lot of the good players will end up over there as a pain free lucrative way to finish their careers.

If it's one last payday they're after, then the MLS or the Middle East seem to offer a pretty good opportunity. Wonder if anyone will slate Thierry for being a money grubber though? On a side note, I seem to remember the old NASL grabbing older talent from around the world (hell, even Pele turned out for the New York Cosmos), which some people blame for it's eventual demise. Just hope that doesn't happen again, think it's pretty important for the US to embrace "soccer" from a home-grown perspective.

Even anelka says he wants to retire there too.Is freddie ljungberg still playing?
Chelsea24/7
Indeed C24/7, he's currently playing soccerball for the Seattle Sounders, although he's rumoured to be attracting interest from several European clubs.
