Aside from the fact that I'd make Arsenal slightly shorter odds than us to win the PL this season, I like the sound of that. Tey're being a bit stingy with the rag's odds though aren't they? I'd put them behind us, arsenal and chelsea to win any of those competitions.

Reminder; (as if we needed any). As most of us know, after the initial runners and riders are tabled by the bookies, with some influence from the pundits and common knowledge, it's the punters who eventually decide what the odds are for any bet. In the end, the weight of money, for or against, is reflected in the odds. The 6/1 quote on City to win the Europa League might reflect the money that's been bet on them already. Not worth it I'd say. Some over-confident partizan betting going on perhaps. A better bet might be Atletico, with Forlan and Aguerro at 120 quid for a tenner. They may very well reach the semis, in which case you can then choose what to do to end up even or in profit. However, it'd be wise to wait until the window closes to see who's still there. In the case of Trafford for the league, I'd say the bookies daren't start with a better price than that because of their recent 3 out of 4 record.
