If City Win One Competition This Season

If Manchester City win one competition this season which one will it be?

This is the question we're asking visitors to Vital Man City via our front page poll question.

I for one still think Chelsea and Manchester United are strong contenders to win the 2010/11 Premier League. In the same breath though and thinking with my head rather than my heart, Manchester City are real and genuine contenders to finish above Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham. Yup, I'm going to put my money were my mouth is by putting a few notes on City finishing third, or above.

Staying on the betting theme...

This years Carling Cup is ours for the taking. We only just missed out in last years competition but, if Roberto Mancini takes the Carling Cup as seriously as Mark Hughes did in the last years early rounds then I have a feeling the trophy should be ours.

FA Cup

Never an easy competition to win - my prediction is a quarterfinal appearance.

Europa League

The bookies put MCFC as odds on favourite to win the tournament outright. Not an impossibility but I'll stick with my original prediction and put my money on us winning the Carling Cup.

All four competition betting odds can be found here.

Our current front page poll question can be found to the right hand side of this article.

not fussed, which trophy we do win as long as win something, so if you put a tenner on each compitition for City to win, it's 5-1, winnings £60, for the PL, 15-2 for the europa, winnings £85 cant find any prices for the english cups, but the red bookie Fred is going 1-3 for us NOT to WIN anything next year........if thats thats the case what price for the manager ''merrygoround'' to be fired up again, what ever happens next season is going to be a BELTER, bring it on....

I agree, a top three finish is gettable. A strong title is realistic. Considering no one has any big money to spend and city arent buying players from our rivals, so they cant spend. Utd and chelsea are ageing. Arsenal will be arsenal. Spurs and villa wont improve dramatically. I got a sneaky feeling liverppol may have a decent season. Im more confident then this time last year because were signing real quality players - silva, yaya, boateng VERSUS santa cruz, lescott, adebayor. No camparision. Dvezko, balotelli and kolarov are all class if we get them. I think city will go far in the carling cup. But im sucker for european football, so id love to see us win the uefa cup.

Yeah, Carling Cup is a good bet for you guys, may b FA.........and if you a get a top quality striker, u may go upto th Quarter of Europa and then, who knows! Premiere league will be tougeh for you guys to win this year, I think you will remain at 4th position, unless the Poo's do some miracle.....

Our opening day thrashing of Tottenham at their place should the odds firmly sealed in our favour.
