Video News: Mark Hughes Takes Fulham Job

With the start of the Premier League season just two weeks away, former Manchester City coach Mark Hughes takes over at Fulham.

By all accounts Sparky will have £20m set aside for new players.

Good luck Mark.

He'll make Craven Cottage a difficult place to go. Meanwhile, I've just bet a van load of croissants that Craig Bellamy and Crocky Santa Cruz will be at Fulham inside two weeks. And he might be after signing a couple of our younger players on loan, too.

Let's hope he does a decent job for us. Not sure why, but plenty of our fans are against the appointment. I, however, think it's a smart move and I can't wait to get the season going. Good luck to you guys at Eastlands!

Nice one KB! You can certainly expect to see some attacking football, and I'll wager he will operate more freely without the burden of having been an ex rag.

Good luck to Sparky. He made some great decisions whilst at City like the signings of Tevez, Kompany, De Jong etc. Unfortunately his failure in central defence and the Robinho situation screwed him. I'm sure he's learnt from those shortcomings and I think Fulham will benefit from that. A good appointment in my view.

best of luck Sparky - you acted with great dignity at City even though you were only average as our manager - Fulham nore your bag and you should do well.

Finally he will have a decent squad to work with for a change

Best of luck Leslie.

In off the post, Rob, lol!

How long until we receive a formal 20.6 million bid for Santa Cruz? ;)
StuMCFC
Good luck to him! He'll do well there - fantastic appointment for Fulham. Now ... come get santa cruz please :)

I bet WE won't be knocking ANY Fulham bids back for Crocky! lol!

I can see RSC getting used to life in London a few weeks from now. I always liked Hughes, so I will wish him luck. Craven Cottage will be difficult to play in, but will Fulham be a force on the road? Probably not.

i'm not even bothering to read the script because I know Fulham will beat us at least once now
