Messi: 'Ferguson Has No Respect'

Messi: 'Ferguson Has No Respect'

Lionel Messi has launched a scathing attack on Manchester United and Alex Ferguson, stating that they showed 'no respect' to his Argentinian compatriate, Carlos Tevez.

The diminutive Barcelona winger said: "I am sure United and Ferguson regret letting Carlitos go, and if they had shown him more respect he would still be there.

'It was never about money for Carlitos - it was about respect and needing to feel wanted. And the truth is United made him feel unwanted while City have done everything they could do to make him feel wanted. It doesn`t matter how good you are or how much money you earn, it`s a basic human emotion to want to feel loved.'

The Fifa World Player of The Year also believes that with the players Manchester City now has at the club, people 'need to start taking [City] seriously'.

Hey he's just preparing the path for a move next season - he likes Oasis and would fit in well.

He certainly knows what he's talking about, doesn't he? Perhaps we will see him next season...

Can't argue with the world player of the year. Baconface lost last seasons title because he didn't value Tevez enough.

Khaldoon and Cookie went after Berbaflop at the same time as Robinho. What City achieved was end up raising the fee that the rags had to finally pay. Face losing panic gripped the swamp resulting in Taggart picking up The Spurs Dracula at the airport himself! Similar panic has struck since then when Bacon Face fielded a full strength team against us in last season's league cup semis. The gap continues to close.

Messi will have a soft spot for City because he's a huge Oasis fan and has even formed a lookalike band, and he knows well of Oasis' links to City. I'd say that is the best road to some day getting him - have Noel at the negotiating table! :D

No respect, err did we turn the sprinklers on at Inter when they won? Messi doesn't even know Sir Alex and what went on between him and Tevez. The reason we didn't win the season was more because of us missing Ronaldo more than the chase-a-stick Tevez.
