Watch Out Spurs: Tevez Ready To Roar Again

'El Apache' has announced that he is on the warpath again via the laddish pages of Zoo magazine. 'Arry will without doubt be putting the Spurs defence on red alert...

It's not the first time that Carlos Tevez, City's talisman, has had a word with Zoo. He's done so in the past when under the rag influence. However, he's certainly accentuating the City positive this time around:

'Our aim should be to improve bit by bit, but we know we must fight for the title.'

Ahead of City's humdinger of a season curtain raiser at White Hart Lane, the tough striker is clearly ready to rumble:

'The same teams will be there and even though we have brought in new players, other clubs will match us. We are right up there with them. We have strengthened and we are stronger. There is no great difference between all the top teams now... the first challenge is to qualify for the Champions League. I hope it won't escape us this time.'

The 26 year old Argentine hot shot who scored a screamer at that dreary World Cup also gave the thumbs up to the dapper yet strict City gaffer Roberto Mancini:

'I think he will make history with this team, if we have some luck on the pitch...Five years is a long way off, but I think we will have won the league title by that time.'

Tevez heads to London on the back of 29 goals in 38 City starts. The thought of him playing alongside the creativity of David Silva, himself shielded by YaYa Toure, is a mouthwatering prospect.

Ahead of The Citizens quest at the home of who became our last season's Champions League nemesis, Mancio will certainly be delighted to hear the words of a senior player who is very much up for the cause!

Roll on Saturday. Good luck City, but I'm expecting the usual 3pts from you.

Agree Cliev. Daws knows how to defend Tevez even with his eyes closed. It might be a tough game but we should win.

Cheers Diablo, that gave me a good laugh.
