'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Chief To Sunderland

Well, it's all happening. City stalwart Nedum Onuoha is going on loan to Sunderland according to the more than ever 'in the know' Sky Sports...

Terms have been agreed with Sunderland and ex rag Steve Bruce must be thrilled to be securing such a talented athlete like our Ned.

The Chief, a diehard 23 year old City fan and MCFC Academy graduate, reknowned for his eloquent well educated approach has never let City down when called upon. Only repeated injury problems have thwarted his bid to become an established City star.

Onuoha has 89 starts and 4 goals to his name in Sky Blue.

There will be relief amid disappointment that he's going around SportCity that one of our own has not been completely jettisoned, yet his need for first team action is totally understandable.

More transfer action on VMC as a berserker of a week unfolds...

In other news, Mancio's Squad continues to take shape, with respect to Andy Smith and The Manchester Guardian...

Good player... Moyes has missed out on this one!
Vanilla Ice
Absolutely buzzing with this signing, even if on loan. We may have to play him right back but he is good enough to be in our centre half slot alongside Mensah.
GazJohnson
I dunno... he's no Titus Bramble :)
Vanilla Ice
Gaz, in speed races, when fit, Ned has always been the fastest over 100 metres. That's according to VMC mate SWP.
Johnny Baguette
Gutted :( Good luck Ned.

I've just had a text from one home and awaying Blue. Is Micah a better player than Ned?
Johnny Baguette
No, i've always said Nedum is a better player than Micah. Micah could have more potential though.
Blinkblue
At least if he has an epic season we can keep him like we seem to be Joe. Good deal for all I imagine as he wasn't going to make our squad and it might give the also talented Boyata a shout of some games too.
StuMCFC
Nedum is a much better player than Richards because he has a capacity to learn. If Nedum hadn't been on a season long injury when Richards broke into the team then it would have been Nedum and not Richards who played first. Give him a run a right back and if he was to stay injury free he would be England material especially as the magnificent Wes handed in his notice (I bet Fabio was delighted when that happened!). Ned is a very likeable and genuine young man. If Sunderland get him in any shape or form and he stays fit you will see a quality footballer at the Stadium of Light. He deserves to be playing somewhere. Look after him.

Ned needs playing time, simples. With the acquisiton of Boateng he's not going to get it. To be honest I'd rather loan Kolo Toure to Sunderland and keep one of our own, but that's a bit impossible innit!
fifthcolumnblue
At least if this is true it's only a 'loan' deal - would hate to lose Ned.
Thaibluefan
Can we now have Ireland and Bellamy and Given please? lol
GazJohnson
Lol, dont push your luck Gaz..
me_innit
Pay back time for Fulop me thinks.
Thaibluefan
A loan deal with the option to make it permanent! Not good!
Vanilla Ice
This is a shame because i consider ned better than richards. In fact hes better than lescott and kolo toure in my opinion. Two things goes against him - hes injury prone and that silly interview he did on soccer am, saying mancio doesnt like him etc. I hope he has a blinder and returns next year.
