Bellamy Heading Back To The Bhoys

The MUEN has just broken the news that Glasgow Celtic are in discussions with City and Craig Bellamy over a potential season long loan move...

There won't be much surprise across Planet Blue at this development. Bellamy went public this week over his City unrest, doubt and concern. Not only did he leave a good deal of City fans again bemoaning one of our players talking that bit too much about himself, but word from within the club is that he infuriated the Blues hierarchy by crossing over a line of confidentiality at a crucial point in the squad's pre season preparations.

It is alledged that he is about to be fined upwards of £160,000 for his comments.

The 31 year old tenacious striker has looked out of sorts since Mark Hughes was fired last Christmas and had publicly stated that his long standing knee injuries meant he could no longer play a full season.

It's this issue that appears to have been at the crux of Bellers angst with strict City boss Roberto Mancini. He wanted a personalised training regime but the Blues chief was having none of it as he reinforced City's intense training with the introduction of a steep 'fitness hill' at Carrington.

With Bellers, a huge fans favourite, yes you get controversy, yes you get the unexpected but you get commitment and will to win by the Welsh Dragon load. That is a fire that City must now crucially aim to maintain from another quarter this season.

Celtic gaffer and ex Blue Neil Lennon has confirmed that a bid is underway to return Bellamy to Parkhead five years on from his previous loan spell in Scotland.

Let's face it. No Blue wants him coming up against us this season so here's hoping the move goes through as amicably as possible.

Sunderland are also in for Bellamy - Steve Bruce: 'There's a lot of clubs who would love Craig Bellamy. He's a fantastic player but whether it's possible, I'm not quite sure. I've been a big admirer of Craig's for a long, long time. If he's available, which it looks like he is, and if we could afford him, then I would love to bring Craig to the football club.'

What a big fu**ing squad. I've counted 65 outfield players, 8 keepers and a bloke in red and white stripes as well as 9 coaching staff. How come you's had to borrow a keeper last season. With a squad that big 'there's something wrong'. I'm sure they don't all know each other.

If we have to lose Craig then it's best he goes to CUjimmyLand. At least there's no prospect of him playing against us. Whatever he is alleged to have said looked to me like a genuine almost cry for help. He too knows he played his best football for City. His dedication is bext summed when somebody outside the Stadium presented a West Ham shirt for him to sign and he told the poor lad in no uncertain terms that he was a City player now and out of respect would not sign the Hammers shirt. I personally wish Bellers all the best , but please don't play against us!!

Well, huddsnewsnarl, you didn't know the new rules? The new rules state that the richest clubs per country are allowed to sign the most players. Therefore, City being the richest club in England, can have 71 outfield players, 8 goalies, and 1 Waldo. Whereas, unfortunately, some of the smaller clubs are only allowed to sign about 15 players, making it more difficult for them. It's a definitive class system put in place to keep the rich teams rich and the poor teams poor, and we all support it. I'm surprised you hadn't heard about it.

Huddernewsnarl - the guy in red and white is our secret new signing (Waldo Ubinhad) from Dubai - he only jetted in in time for the squad photo and therefore had to wear his current club's kit for the photo. The announcement of his signing won't be officially made until the weekend - although apparently he's gone missing and the club are asking everybody to help find him.

Too bad about Bellers -if he'd only let his feet do the talk he would have been a no doubter for City and all the other clubs he's been at -Too bad his mouth is too big for any club to swallow. Unfortunateky he's one of the biggest idiots in football as soon as he opens his mouth...

@PhillyBlueMoon. Those seem fair rules to me. Come on sell us Bellamy. How could you miss him. You can buy 2 more goalies. Looking forward to tomorrow's game with you's.
