Balotelli On The Plane For Manchester

La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports Friday morning that Inter Milan's brilliant hatstand striker Mario Balotelli has left Milan with his agent for England...

La Gazzetta announced this morning:

'Super Mario goodbye. Mario Balotelli has left for Manchester with his proxy Mino Raiola.

'The player has been spotted by the cameras of Sky Sport at the airport of Milan Linate, at the entry of the terminal of the private flights.

'Today might mark the decisive turning point for the transfer of the 20 year old attacker to Manchester City.

'The two clubs have reached an agreement based on a €28 million transfer fee.'

Debut versus Liverpool, then?
Johnny Baguette
He's on his way which means our strike force will be now be defind (I hope) as one of the best, if not the beat in the Premier League. Happy days!
Tudor
The PL has just got that bit more exciting, welcome super mario.

Mancio: "We are close with Balotelli. Mario is on his way here today. Milner could take another two or three days."
Johnny Baguette
congrats guys.... Ballo is a super player. I have to admit you guys have come a long way in the last year or so... in terms of personell. It's gonna be exciting this year

This is another one in the eye for the pundits who the moment we lost to Spurs in May said that City would not be able to attract top players.
Johnny Baguette
Balotelli - the man who turned down MORE MONEY at manure to sign for City.
fifthcolumnblue

"Personal terms have already been agreed, and the striker is expected to sign a five-year deal worth €3.5m (£2.875m) a year on completion of a medical at City's training ground today" - - - - - So on my abacus that means he's on roughly £55k per week. WOW! The lad has really compromised on his £180k per week demands as reported by the British media....oh wait...
Spooks
I can just imagine Taggarts face going from red to green.

Geez ******s, why are you suggesting the lad will be on £55k per week wages? Havent you heard we're paying Ibra half a billion per week?
me_innit
Yeh and a flying saucer has just landed at COM.
Spud 1
Thanks for the good wishes from spurs fans. You have already replaced Liverpool in the pecking order, hopefully City can now replace United or Arsenal and really shake things up. The sky 4 is no more.
Eighthsin
He's signed!!!!!!
me_innit
As much as i hate to admit it this lad just made you guy’s title contenders....DAMN lol. Good signing
Klutch
Welcome Mario ......
Doody
******s, that's after the 50% tax. That's 110,000 quid a week gross, 55k a week net. Still, significant;y less than what the press were harping about. I would assume he gets 100% of his image rights too, that would bring the sum to that amount. Still, YaYa's on 220,000 a week..
