Kolarov Ankle Knack Knock For City



New signing Aleksander Kolarov is sidelined for an initial two weeks following ankle ligament damage sustained in the Blues goalless draw at Spurs...

In fact, Kolarov could be missing for as long as a month. It transpires that our other senior left back Wayne Bridge is currently out of action with a toe injury so the spotlight is likely to fall again upon the versatile Pablo Zabaleta who came on for Kolarov in London.

Joleon Lescott is also an option for City's Europa League clash at FC Timisoara tomorrow.

The MUEN reports that Jerome Boateng remains out injured and that Seamus Given has flown with the squad out east.
