Mancini= tactical genius. What a victory, made in England and finished in Argentina.

Stephen Ireland has got omelette on his face. A lorryload of it.

Who's that JB?;)
Bluedub
Why has he? His comments may be untrue in the eyes of city fans but to him he feels he was treated unfairly so fair enough. After all its only 2 games gone, nothing can be said yet, If you think your title contenders of your 2nd game then its a bit stupid due to the fact you played poorly 1st game like many teams did and then played very well 2nd, in our case the opposite haha.

I believe you'll find that Ireland said Milner would not get a game at City planavfc, and he also said that Milner was in for a shock - the only shock was how good a team he's joined. Stevie Ireland is slowly being erased from our memories, much as a bad smell dissipates when a window is opened. Milner is Superman, Ireland is just superman pants.

P. Avfc. Let's face it, had City lost and Villa won this weekend, you would have been on here giving it the big one about mouthy Ireland. As it stands, Villa were humiliated and City took Liverpool to the cleaners. On top of what 5th has said, Ireland declared himself the fittest player at City and better than all of this years signings, so he set the bar that Milner and Yaya Toure cleared with ease last night, not us. Nobody is saying we are title contenders outside of the hacks who have changed their minds about our evil mercenaries over night. I know one thing though, if my side had beaten a *****poor already relegation haunted West Ham at home and then been dicked out of sight at newly promoted Newcastle, I'd be *****ting bricks. Nothing can be said after two games at this level? So, 3 or 4's alright then?
Johnny Baguette
amen to that JB.

What has happened to helping out the local clubs????? If you have got players that are not going to get into the team why not lend them out to the local teams. They will get a game to keep fit and ready for use in the first team. Stockport County needs you!!!!!!!

That sounds a good idea. Yet IMHO City has a good record in loan deals to North West lower division sides. Furthemore, the club just signed a big deal with Hyde United.

Cant be bothered to get into a debate with you lot as your ignorance is past curing. You are right about ireland his comments dont look too good with how the fixtures went but could say the opposite last week. Come 10 games then everyone can see if milner is still in your line up and same with ireland.
P.Avfc
10 games it is then. You've got a more than reasonable run on paper continuing against the likes of Everton, Bolton, Stoke and Wolves next month before your first big tests 6 games in at Spurs, then home to Chelsea. We'll see how you go on.
Johnny Baguette
Milner's debut performance, in a team he apparently has to gel with, was better than any Ireland performance since around 2008. He really is a much better player. Ireland has his chance to recreate himself at Villa if he has the mentality to do it (which I have doubts about, he has never been the most stable person) but we won't miss him one bit.
