19 year old Boyata has been brilliant every single time Roberto Mancini has called upon him and Thursday night was no exception.
He settled in alongside Captain Vincent Kompany with ease and used his cool head, strength and skill repeatedly to help maintain City's grip on the game.
There is also praise this week for Patrick Vieira whose passing was sensational, delivering the killer ball through to Shaun Wright-Phillips that finally broke Timisoara's resistence.
