No less than SIX Manchester City players have been selected, a fact lost almost entirely upon the legions of hacks and snipers queuing up to drool over having been proved right that The Citizens won't win every game they play this season.
Conveniently, nobody in the 'Street of Shame' has picked up on another fact that Roberto Mancini has selected SIX English starters in his Blues team for the last two Premier League fixtures. In comparison, our noisy neighbours the kamikaze rags have selected one and two Englishmen in their respective matches.
Joleon Lescott's reward for battling back from serious injury to first team action is to join James Milner, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Gareth Barry, Joe Hart and Adam Johnson for the important clashes with Bulgaria and Switzerland.
Again, the widely preferred established order is rocked. Only two rags, two red scousers, two Arsenal and one Chelsea player have made Fabio Capello's 24 man squad. Our pals at Spurs have four well merited players selected.
Again, City continue to ruin English football!

We bought SWP back for £8.5 million, Joe for £600k, Johnson for undisclosed (£5-7 million), Milner for £16 million + Ireland, Lescott for undisclosed (£20-24 million), and Barry for £12 million. That adds up to approximately £65 million in cash for six current England internationals or on average £10.8 million each.
