23 year old Adam Johnson's performances just get better and better as he threatens to become the talisman of this season's campaign. His trickery is terrifying defences and he is looking an absolute steal at the £7 million City paid Middlesbrough for him last February. He's our MOTM from Saturday's groan-athon.

The Citizens have another player improving with every game. In second place we find Vincent Kompany who inexplicably, is not the City skipper.

It's very often difficult to remember that our classy defensive king pin is only 24 years old.
