Wigan v Man City Proposed Starting Line-Up

Manchester City FC has never won a Premier League game at the DW Stadium, meanwhile Wigan have yet to gain three points at home this season. I wonder if City can break the Wigan hoodoo?

Recent Wigan v City Premier League encounters at the DW Stadium:

18/10/09 - Wigan 1-1 City
28/09/08 - Wigan 2-1 City
01/12/07 - Wigan 1-1 City
21/10/06 - Wigan 4-0 City
26/12/05 - Wigan 4-3 City

Proposed teams: 19/09/10.

City subs: Given, Jô, Boyata, Vieira, Silva, Ibrahim, Wright-Phillips, Cunningham, Adebayor

Doubtful: Adebayor (dead leg)

Injured: Boateng (knee, 25 Sept), M Johnson (knee, Oct), Kolarov (knee, Oct), Balotelli (knee, Oct), Lescott (groin, Oct)

We bag an early goal against anyone and we'll get the job done.

Its about time we show these how its done! Come on City and batter em! I still remember the 4-0 loss to them a few seasons back - cringe worthy

Remember we have a game mid-week against West Brom, so Johnson/Silva will start one or the other. It's a good idea to keep the squad fresh.

Think it's about time we ended our duck at the DW.

Your'e right JB ...its that early goal that is the key ...
Doody
We were the only team in the PL last season who didn't lose a single game once we'd gone into the lead, hope we can keep that statistic up this season. Getting the lead in games is of course the key element...
