We Can Beat Wigan - Surely?

Manchester City should beat Wigan on Sunday, surely?

Statistics show our DW Stadium form is pathetic (click here for details) however, with a multi-million pound 25-man Manchester City squad at Bobby Manc's disposal surely three away points is nothing but acceptable?

As usual, we at Vital Manchester City will be running out ever popular Match Day thread - in the meantime how about you Blues having a go at our Wigan v Man City prediction games?

they'll provide quite a bit of space so no matter how bad city have been playing it should still be 3pts.

Don't forget that they did beat spurs
Avfc94 we do
Don't remind me Avfc94 we do. My stomach is churning already.

Hmm Wigan are your bogey team don't forget

We broke plenty of these records last season though, such as doing Chelsea for the first time in god knows how many years (and doing it twice!). But these are the sort of fixtures we always struggle in so I'm nervous.

1-0 Latics at 10/1. Too good to be true, I'll have some of that thanx

I can still remember when Palacios dove a few seasons back to get a penalty and the win for Wigan. I'll never forget that and always hope to thrash them. I have always hated their style of play and their general attitude. I hope we put 10 past them.

I hope the team now understands after the loss against Sunderland and a draw against Blackburn that they need to put the pressure on from the very first minute and not wait until the 60th minute after being 1-nill down due to the habitual ridiculous mistake!

I hate the "surely" games .......we nearly always go down .....but having said that ...2 - 0 to City this time.
Doody
Heavy rain forecast for the whole day today - that's not exactly going to encourage our slick passing game. Just hope we can mix it up if it turns into a bit of a mudbath.

Dont make me laugh PhillyBlueMoon, I remember Shaun Goater punching the ball in the net to knock us out of the play-off's, I also remember Tevez last season getting Caldwell sent off plus lots of other incidents down the years....games between Latics and City are usually entertaining, as for style of play Spud Yed has gone now so our style as changed, we're not quite Brazil yet like yerselves but we are trying ;)
worbo
It was his nipple worbo, as immortalised in the song "Sean Goater - Superstar".
