sadly they are looking very dangerous at the moment. What ever happened to the days of competition in the league eh!? :(
The Fear
If you can sort out the right starting XI, no one can rightly argue against the talent you've assembled. Every single time I see Johnson play I can't believe Chelsea (or anyone else) didn't jump through walls to sign him. Hart is terrific. Milner is a workhorse. Yaya Toure is a top, top midfielder. Tevez, in the right mood, can be devastating. I could go on and on. Personally, I don't believe Mancini will survive another full season. Expectations are too high and he's not impressed me. You'll stumble for a while but will eventually get grounded--not title contenders this season, but top four quality no doubt.

Gotto disagree with you there, RadD. I think this Citeh team have it in them to win everything- The just have to click. Personally, though, I think you should've stuck with Sparky. Mancini is too negative with a fantastic attacking squad like Citeh's.

The Fear - the PL is more competitive now than it has been for years. It was becoming sterile before the investment came in. Change the record mate.

i would go along a different route to my chelsea mates above... although they have an attack to rival any club... their defence (except GK) is not on the same page... not europe material... not record clean sheets material... which will affect them this PL season... can't talk about next as they might have a whole new 11! Don't want to jinx anything for us... lol and cheers to a good game tomorrow!

That defence has conceded only 2 in 5 LRF, one was a penalty and the other a freak goal which was GK's fault. Tomorrow is the big test, but I wouldn't write them off yet, especially as two of our new defenders haven't featured bar Kolarov for 45mins on opening day.

Christ bludub you attack nearly everyone who posts on here, It sounded like an attack on fear then, what did he say wrong? Dont agree with ancelotti, i think the only title challengers are chelsea obv, utd and arsenal...Id put money on city for fourth just depends on everything really, Not been overly convinced by them yet but just on your squad alone i would back them.

P. Not that it's anything to do with you, but, I have not or would not "attack" anyone on here. I was disagreeing with his opinion which he has stated numerous times on here. Is that ok with you ***** stirrer?

Mancini isn't negative, it's just an illusion because of our conservative way. But look at our recent games, we've been creating up to 20 chances, we just haven't been clinical (Tevez missing the open goal against Sunderland for example). Also let me point out that Boateng and Kolarov are instrumental figures in Mancini's vision for City. Both can defend well but are also very good attacking (ala Ashley Cole), a dimension we have no had as neither Bridge or Micah can cross a ball well. With those two, we will have more of an attacking presence. Both have had unlucky injuries but Boateng is almost back and Kolarov hopefully will be in the next month.

Well anything has got to do with everyone on here considering its a internet forum and anyone can post their opinions...You could of just said you disagree with him instead of being funny about it.

I'm sure with a fully fit squad we'd be more than a match for anyone in this league. Unfrotunately, injuries have really hindered us, and to be honest, I'm surprised we've done as well as we have all things considered. I'm not optimistic about today's game simply because of the injuries we have - Chelsea have their injury problems too, but they have both their first choice attack and first choice defence available to them, areas where the injuries have hit us particularly hard. I'll be more than happy with a draw from this one, and here's hoping Hart is in inspired form!
